This training has been designed to help professionals think creatively about ways to engage and build relationships with communities who face social marginalisation and who experience barriers accessing mainstream services.
Lead Artist Felix Stochaj has worked for nearly 10 years as a creative practitioner and specialist youth worker in Tottenham in North London, one of the most deprived wards in England.
Stochaj creates community art programmes with young people who have been involved in offending, affected by exploitation, have been racialised and criminalised by systems or face socio-economic depravation.
The primary focus of this work is using art and creative practices to support frontline professionals working within public healthcare, education, housing, the criminal justice system and social services.
